The Alberta Arts Academy is a non profit organization dedicated to help children and adults who are interested in art to develop their interests and skills.
Every child likes to draw and play with colours. Many children are very talented and only need professional support to improve their natural abilities.
Scientific studies show that artistic activities have a positive influence on our brain and personality. Children who are involved in visual arts or music have better results in the school, suffer less from psychological problems such as depression and ADHD, and have a more stable behaviour even in puberty.
We are proud to have children from many different nationalities in our classes. Despite speaking a variety of languages, our students find a common language through art. By drawing and painting together, art has become a bridge between cultures.
